Hand Crafted Pastries

Our pastries are made fresh daily by hand, using traditional methods. Our Croissants and Danishes are made from dough with 81 layers of European style butter and dough to produce a light, buttery, flaky pastry you won’t find anywhere else in the Lowcountry. We carry several breakfast pastries, as well as, a wide and ever changing selection of sweets and desserts. And we love to do custom cakes for birthdays, weddings or special occasions. Here is a sampling of our heavenly sweets.

Croissant-BBC Signature Pastry

We make our Croissant dough the old fashion way, by hand, in small batches every day. We use Premium European-style Butter to create 81 layers of butter and dough. Each croissant is gently hand rolled, fermented overnight to develop full flavor, and baked to a crispy golden brown.

Almond Croissant

Rather than the standard commercial almond paste, we use our homemade rich almond cream, (no artificial almond extract here!), soak the croissant in fresh made almond syrup and top with more almonds. These are addicting.

Bourbon Cinnamon Roll

Croissant dough is the foundation of this tasty pastry. We add pastry cream, cinnamon sugar, and bourbon soaked raisins to create this roll. Baked as a large muffin the pastries are rolled in cinnamon sugar to make a great morning pastry.

Danish

This is a traditional sweet morning pastry. Filled with a slightly sweetened cream cheese filling, with the option of plain (just cream cheese) or topped off with raspberry jam.

Sluys Viking Cup

We found these sweet treats at Sluys Poulsbo Bakery, west of Seattle, WA. and made our own version. We start with hand-rolled Danish dough and make a cinnamon muffin and stuff it with sweetened cream cheese. It is a unique pastry full of morning flavor.

Bread Pudding

A sweet morning pastry made with diced Croissant and Crème Anglaise. Our pastry chef then adds the flavor of the day. Check to see what she has created for today.

Coconut Macaroons

Traditional sweet Coconut Cookie baked to a toasty golden brown.

 

Quiche

Available as 6-inch individual serving or a 9 inch pie serving 6-8.

Quiche Loraine

Traditional Bacon, Swiss and Egg baked into a buttery crust.

Mediterranean

Tomatoes, Country Olives, artichokes, roasted red peppers, feta cheese baked into a buttery crust.

Spinach, Mushrooms and Goat Cheese

Fresh spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese baked into a buttery crust.

BBC Cookies

Baked with all the love your Grandmother baked into her cookies. These cookies are 4” cookies made with the freshest of ingredients…always butter, never substitutes…no shortcuts.

Chocolate Chunk

An intense style of old fashion Chocolate Chip Cookies. Plenty of rich semi-sweet-chocolate chips and bitter-sweet chocolate chunks.

Oatmeal Raisin

BBC version of a classic. Tons of oats, raisins, with just the right amount of cinnamon added.

Ginger Molasses

Full of Ginger, Cinnamon and Cloves mixed with dark brown sugar and molasses gives this cookie a ton of flavor. A wonderful combination of sweet and spicy!

Truffle Cookie

For Chocolate lovers only! This rich cookie has enough chocolate to satisfy anyone’s chocolate cravings. It is a cross between a cookie, a brownie and a truffle. It’s all chocolate through and through.
